In mine, I used 4-40 pushrods too. I use the sheath from one of the gold-n-rods, and use the yellow tubing for a spacer. I cut the yellow ribbed tubing in about 1/4" lengths, and slide them over the...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

Nice Batman! I wish I had a picture of my last one, It was kind of covered like Eddie Van Halen's older guitar with all of the different size stripes going every which way, and it looked pretty cool,...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

The question will be if Eddie fixed the stab issue (harder stock). I am going to put flying wires on my tail section just to give it more stiffness, its just too soft. I should have replaced it...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

FYI, I e-mailed Eddie at lazer works and told him that the materials for the ribs and fin/stab were too soft in my kit and he said he will try to do better. Hopefully he can remedy that issue, other...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

All I know is that on the .40 size Flying Machine, the cowl setup on this plane is already tight for a .40 size engine. I can't imagine you could pack that .60 gasser in there. I know, I have been...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

Very Cool. It would be great if you authorized a .60 size short kit to be make though Lazer works, we really appreciate that.

Thanks for supporting your fan base :-)

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

I almost cut one myself, using the ribs to set up a template. The original kit came with a foam wing, instead of the built-up wing as shown in the plans. I personally like the foam wing better, but...

RE: Don Muddiman Flying Machine

I am finishing up a short kit now, I hope the balsa selection is a bit better. Lazer works did a nice job on the kit, my only real complaint was that the balsa selection was a little soft for the...
